Essential Oils/Carrier Oils— these are raw materials with which to create your own blends. Essential oils are not to be used of-themselves; they must be mixed in with a carrier
oil. Carrier oils are the base oils and are an important part of any aromatic blend, offering additional healing properties of their own. If you are

Essential Oils for the Season of Summer
|
The scents of summer are so full of energy and passion. Hot and spicy, sweet and alluring. Listed below you will find some of my favorite oils with which to work. It's all
about connecting to the inner fire that lives within you— to raise your power and allow it to move you to unite more deeply with your authentic heart passion.
The Most Popular Essential Oils For the Season of Summer
Basil, Bergamot, Cardamon, Carrot Seed, Cedarwood, Chamomile Blue, Chamomile Roman, (*New*) Cilantro, Clary Sage, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Lavender, Lemongrass, Lime, Neroli, Yarrow and (*New*) Yuzu.
Most people only use on an average of 5 essential oils per season. Sometimes that is as far as they go. We don't need to use a lot of different oils for the day-to-day lifestyle
support that essential oils can offer us. Many people are too busy to sit down and consider Which oil do I use today? That is why our blends (further below) are so popular. However,
once you begin working with the oils you will see the amazing effect they can have on your lifestyle; and the desire to expand your knowledge and try some new and different choices
each season will blossom naturally from there.

Lavender. You can use this for just about anything. Relaxation, calming, nervous tension, headaches, anxiety, sleep disturbances, skin care, burns, etc. Let's face it—
Lavender is an all-around winner. Peppermint is great for headaches, stomach aches, pain relief, fevers, low energy, sinus congestion, nausea, it's a miracle oil. With just
these two essential oils alone you can create a lot of practical, day-to-day magic.
But I say— trust your intuition, choose what feels right for you, and allow the magical powers of these incredible plant spirit energies to support you during the beautiful season of

Rose Tincture Set |
For the past two years the rose has called me to work with
it and to create with it as it guided me. I have had the honor and pleasure of her teaching me about the divine alchemy of her beautiful
essence, energy and the information that she can impart in us— as we allow her to move through out us and empower our spiritual dna.
This year I was called to create a Rose Alchemy Tincture Set, consisting of three intertwining aspects.
It begins with a Rose Tincture— Divine Masculine. My husband, David, collected the roses for this tincture

How to Use— Tinctures
|
Botanical tinctures can be used in a variety of ways. I find the most powerful use
of the active energies is when they are diffused in hot water and slipped slowly and mindfully. The energy of the plant is activated
and more alive then when infused in a cool or iced carrier
I, however, could not imagine sipping my water, drinking my ice tea, lemonade, etc., without a splash of a botanical tincture or
hydrosol. My rule of thum is— that I use the plant spirit energies for healing and soul work in hot tincture form, and I use them in cool
beverages to raise my physical energy and my spirit prana for harmony and balance of the physical and spiritual anatomy.
Hot Infusions
Place no more than 3-6 drops
in a cup of hot water (unless guided— trust your instincts) and sip. I love my
tinctures before bedtime, but use then when you feel them calling to you.
Cold Infusions
Muscle test to see how many drops
you want to place in your glass, your container of water, beverage, etc., for an energetic boost
of plant spirit alchemy.
